Benefit Descriptions
Join the San Francisco Silent Film Festival and be part of a community of film lovers who appreciate and support live cinema! Year-round SFSFF benefits include advance ticket sales and discounts on events and services.
Membership support allows the Silent Film Festival to present restorations to silent era masterpieces, including rediscoveries and extremely rare titles from the world's archives, accompanied by live music at every performance.
If you wish to donate an amount above a specified membership level, select the level here and click the ADD TO CART button, then click on the Donations link in the right-hand menu. Both amounts will appear in your cart at checkout and the added donation will be fully tax deductible.
To give a Gift Membership, select a level here. You will be prompted to enter the recipient's information during checkout.
If you are interested in making a Pledge Contribution, to be disbursed in monthly installments, please contact Lucia Pier (information below).
Many employers have Matching Gift programs where they will add to your donation. Make your money go further! Please note that while matching gifts increase the total amount of your contribution, they do not apply towards membership benefits. Ask your employer if they have a Matching Gift program.

GOLD PASS
The Festival Gold Pass (available at the Patron level) gives you access to all festival programs, including the Opening Night Film and Party, and the Spotlight Lounge (open throughout the summer festival). You'll also enjoy priority entrance privileges – once the Early Entrance door opens, you're welcome to come and go as you please.
PLATINUM PASS
The Platinum Pass (available at the Grant Patron, Benefactor, and Visionary levels) gives you priority entrance privileges to all festival programs and access to the Opening Night Party, the Spotlight Lounge, and the ultimate comfort of the reserved seating section.
SPOTLIGHT LOUNGE (Available to Gold and Platinum Pass holders and to Supporter-level members) is open throughout the festival on the Castro Theatre mezzanine, and serves appetizers and drinks during each break. It's a place to mingle with film lovers, special guests, and festival musicians. EARLY ENTRANCE PRIVILEGES, available to Gold and Platinum Pass holders, and Early Entrance ticket holders, allows you to enter the theater as soon as the Early Entrance doors open and find the seat of your dream! RESERVED SEATING is the most luxurious perk we offer to Platinum Pass holders – the ability to reserve a seat in the reserved section at any show! OPENING NIGHT PARTY at the legendary McRoskey Mattress Company Building is free to Gold and Platinum Pass holders. All members can purchase discounted tickets.
